Puddles Everywhere...

Hey guys it's June and you know what that means!
My watch has now shown every month!

Haha at least that was my first thought when it turned June.

So in June it's usually super hot but this week we had rain from
Tuesday to Sunday so it was perfect biking weather when it wasn't
raining. When it was raining we took the truck. There are so many
puddles everywhere we almost need to wait a few more days before
taking bikes again so all the water can dry up.

So the first week of this transfer is already gone and done and we
talked to some super good people this week.

We found this young couple tracting about a week ago and finally had a
lesson with them.  I guess when he was little the missionaries would come and talk to his
family. Anyways we shared the resto with them and they were super
attentive.  We are excited to teach them, they have two little kids who I know
would love to come to primary.

We also found another young couple who had previously met with
missionaries. They said their grandma used to go to our church and
they read the Book of Mormon a little here and there. We shared why
it's important to know if the Book of Mormon is true and invited them
to read it so they can become closer to God and closer as a family.
They said they are willing to listen to what we have to say and
hopefully they'll read the Book of Mormon. The wife goes in the
hospital to have a baby this week so we got their phone number so we
can try and set up a lesson in about a week when that's all taken care
of.

we're reading in Mormon right now and Mormon chapter 3 starting in
verse 17 is when he's talking to us in our day:

17 Therefore I write unto you, Gentiles, and also unto you, house of
Israel, when the work shall commence, that ye shall be about to
prepare to return to the land of your inheritance;

18 Yea, behold, I write unto all the ends of the earth; yea, unto you,
twelve tribes of Israel, who shall be judged according to your works
by the twelve whom Jesus chose to be his disciples in the land of
Jerusalem.

19 And I write also unto the remnant of this people, who shall also be
judged by the twelve whom Jesus chose in this land; and they shall be
judged by the other twelve whom Jesus chose in the land of Jerusalem.

20 And these things doth the Spirit manifest unto me; therefore I
write unto you all. And for this cause I write unto you, that ye may
know that ye must all stand before the judgment-seat of Christ, yea,
every soul who belongs to the whole human family of Adam; and ye must
stand to be judged of your works, whether they be good or evil;

21 And also that ye may believe the gospel of Jesus Christ, which ye
shall have among you; and also that the Jews, the covenant people of
the Lord, shall have other witness besides him whom they saw and
heard, that Jesus, whom they slew, was the very Christ and the very
God.

22 And I would that I could persuade all ye ends of the earth to
repent and prepare to stand before the judgment-seat of Christ.

Good stuff guys.

Love,
Elder Blackburn
